Our purpose
To honor the life of Tyler, the Tyler McChurch Memorial Foundation was established through Cumberland University. The Goal is to financially support programs that can Inspire, Build Character, and Integrity in the youth of Wilson County. As we continue to grow as a Foundation, we will continue to give to organizations that have a direct impact on the youth of Wilson County.
The Foundation raises gifts through its annual ‘Tyler McChurch Memorial Golf Tournament and Silent Auction’. This foundation was established in 2014, and has raised over $285,000. The Goal of the tournament is “To create an atmosphere of competition, sportsmanship, and fun, while raising funds through corporate and individual sponsorship, team entry fees, and donations, in the Memory of Tyler McChurch.”
